Third Day Program of the 5th International Conference “Earth from Space…”

Program of the third day of the 5th International Conference “Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions” has been posted. Plenary sessions will be held starting 9:30 am on December 1 at the Moscow Region “Vatutinki” resort hotel covering the following topics:” Remote Sensing and Renewable Natural Resources” (an extended plenary session to be continued from 13:50 until 14:30), “Satellite Data for Nature Protection and Civil Society”, “Monitoring of Infrastructure Facilities”. An open meeting of the “Earth from Space” association will also be held on December 1.

Master-classes and round tables will be held on December 1, dedicated to in-depth RS data processing, radar data application in Russia, international approaches and Russian specifics of developing Earth observation market, etc.

Special attention will be drawn to the issues of introduction of space technologies into the secondary and higher education system on the third day of the conference. In addition to thematic section, during which school teachers and university professors will share their experience, a meeting of the “university-based geoportals” (UNIGEO) consortium will be held December 1.

Poster presentations will be presented all through the day.

From 13:50 to 14:30 a workshop “Experience of agrochemical service of Novosibirsk area on monitoring of the agricultural lands based on modern technologies and space images” will be held.
