ScanEx is happy to announce Astrium GEO-Information Services has agreed to be a silver sponsor of the 5th International Conference “Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions”. The conference is to be held on November 29 – December 1, 2011 in the Moscow Region at the “Vatutinki” resort hotel.
Experts from Astrium will present applications using optical and radar imagery data acquired from SPOT, FORMOSAT-2, TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X satellites. Conference participants will learn how satellite data is used in cartography, forestry and agriculture, risk management and security applications..
In addition, the conference participants will get firsthand information from Astrium representatives about the plans for deployment of the future missions of SPOT 6 and SPOT 7, Plеiades-1 and Plеiades-2 satellites that are to be put into orbit in the next 3 years.
