| The operator of the first German commercial radar satellite TerraSAR-X - Infoterra Company will give the master class called “TerraSAR-X data application pilot projects results in Russia”. The master class will take place on December 2 from 16:45 to 18:00 within the framework of the 4th International Conference “Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions”. The master class location will be the Training Hall of the Moscow Region Vatutinki Presidential Administration complex.

Elizavetin, Head of Project, ZAO “Rakurs”. “Experience of TerraSAR-X Data Processing with the use of PHOTOMOD Radar Software Package”, 3. Presentation of A. Zakharov, Head of Laboratory, Fryazino Branch of V.A. Kotelnikov RAS Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics. “Experience of TerraSAR-X Data Application for Monitoring Transport Infrastructure in Hazardous Karst and Landslide Territories”; 4. Presentation of A. Kucheiko, Deputy General Director, ScanEx RDC. “Operational Monitoring of Floods in North Russia Rivers Using TerraSAR-X Data». 5. Presentation of A. Maslov, Head of Laboratory, RAS Institute of Forest Science. “Experience of Applying High Resolution Imagery for Monitoring Small Area Cuttings”. 6. A. Vasileysky, Deputy Head of the Center for Introduction of Space Technologies, OAO NIIAS will report the results of the pilot project on application of TerraSAR-X radar data for the benefits of the Russian Railroads.
On December 1, at the conference plenary meeting “Programs of Earth observation from space” Yoerg F. Herrmann will make the presentation “TerraSAR-X Services and Program Outlook”. In the course of the workshop “Space data processing tools and technology” Robert Lanzl, Business Development Manager, Infoterra GmbH, will speak on capabilities and peculiarities of applying TerraSAR-X data for building digital elevation models. In addition the exhibition of technologies and services in the area of Earth remote sensing will be held within the framework of the conference, where the participants will have the chance to visit the joint poster booth of Spot Image S.A. and Infoterra GmbH.
