The arts of thematic'c interpretation - Thematic Pro module

General information:

• Class duration is 1 hour 30 minutes.
• Master-class is intended for demonstration of practical methods of RS data thematic processing using ScanEx Image Processor application.
• During the demonstration basic methods of analysis and automatic classification of multispectral space images will be reviewed.
• Special time period will be assigned for user’s questions and answers at the end of the master-class.

Master-class program

Topic: Basic methods of automated thematic processing of space images and their application in solving practical tasks.

The following is to be reviewed during the classes:

• Spectral properties analysis of an object and selection of spectral bands for classification;
• Algorithm of unsupervised IsoData classification, analysis of classification results and building thematic legend, vectorization of received results;
• Algorithm of multi-band image segmentation;
• Algorithm of multi-band image classification applying self-organizing neural networks. Classification results analysis using Sammon’s mapping, building thematic legends.
